Our Journey

Started with 11, Now 1600+ Strong

Janhit Samiti was established in 1987 in Patiala, Punjab. Driven by the philosophy that "Service to Humanity is Service to God", the organization was founded under the visionary leadership of Late Sh. Om Prakash Kaushik.

What began with just 11 dedicated members has now blossomed into a formidable force of over 1,600 members. We are registered with the Punjab Government (since 1990) and operate purely as a charitable, non-profit, non-political organization.

We do not receive any financial aid from the Government. Our entire operation is funded by the generous contributions of our members and donors. All donations are exempt from Income Tax under section 80-G.
